This page is for lesson five of the Pine Tree Domains HTML Basics Tutorial by David K. Small. This paragraph is used as a sample to show what the default line spacing is in a paragraph. No STYLE has been used here to add extra white space between the lines. The paragraphs in the tutorial lessons do have extra white space added between them. By adding more line spacing, the paragraph appears more open than this one and thus may be easier to read as a web paragraph for most people. But if you have a lot to say and want to keep your web page compact, you might not want extra space. The tutorials have code examples in them and if the line spacing was tighter, like this paragraph, it would be more stressful on your eyes. We like relaxed eyes here on the Small Expressions Web Server. Now that you have seen this example, you can close this window by clicking on the X in the upper right corner (of this window), and go back to the tutorial.
